Thank you for highlighting the arrest of numerous Israeli spies in Lebanon (Crescent, 05-09). It is clearly a major blow to Israeli manipulation of Lebanese politics but it also points to the serious challenges facing Hizbul-lah as it grapples with both internal as well as external enemies. The fact that a general in Lebanon’s Internal Secu-rity Service was recruited by the Isra-elis reflects their deep reach. It is clear that this is not the end of the story or of Zionist-American spies in Lebanon.

Recent reports say more arrests have occurred and a number of spies have fled to the Zionist state taking their families with them. The people of Lebanon need to be vigilant.
